Social Media Marketing Takes on Three Minds

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

The mind is truly a masterpiece of mystery and achievement. It is able to take in vast amounts of signals and turn it into something meaningful for the body to take action. With the ability to discern and compare, every single thought that arises is a suggestion for action. The world of advertising has banked on this idea in being able to deliver considerations for the mind to choose. With the internet, advertising has turned to social media marketing for a more efficient sales and profit potential.

With millions of dollars spent on advertising and promotions, it is evident that even social media marketing goes well in the virtual world. So how does it become entwined with the way the mind works?

During the second half of the century, Paul McLean proposed that the mind works in three separate constructs. The Trium Brain as he proposed works co-dependent with one another in the thought process. Through evolution, the mind has transformed from the primal to a combination of primal, systemic, and logical areas. It becomes effective when the campaign is able to trigger all three areas of human thinking.

Social Media Marketing – Get Involved Now

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

When embarking on a social media marketing campaign, a lot of considerations should be met so that success would be better achieved. Many marketers who are too eager to jump start begin aggressively and fizz out quite soon. Even with the fast turnout of joined online communities everyday, making the users hooked into the marketing campaign requires more than mere posting and spamming.

And with only 24 hours a day to be productive (not to mention having only 2/3 available for actual work), it is impossible to spend each and every single moment hooked up to the internet and make new connections and links. Getting involved with a select few online communities are much more efficient in keeping a social network stable to carry your social media marketing campaign content.

One Social Media Activity Business Owners Must Do

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

What is the one social media activity a business owner must do each day of the week? This question was recently posed to a select group of professionals on major social networking site and it generated a wonderfully rich set of answers. I will summarize some of the comments, guidance, suggestions, and tips that came from the collective wisdom of over 20 professionals. Unfortunately, an article is too short to provide you with all the great advice offered, but I will provide you a good sample of the thoughts these people generously offered.

Perhaps, the one theme repeated most among professionals I have talked with is that “There is no ONE thing.” In affect, the answer to my question is “the premise of the question was essentially flawed.” This is no doubt true and in retrospect, I admit that trying to boil down a business owner’s activities related to social media to one thing is a bit like asking the skipper of a sailboat during a race to tell you the one thing the crew must do to win. Impossible, you must do many things and do them well.

Email marketing is one of the BEST tools that you can use to grow your business on eBay, Amazon and beyond. Sending out newsletters, sales and promotions to your customers is one of the best ways to sell more products more often.

However, there’s an important KEY to successful email marketing that most people overlook, and that is…

The TITLE of Your Email

In fact the way you title your email is SO important, the success of your email marketing campaign depends on it.

Why an Email Title is Important

With email marketing, your title serves one primary purpose…To get your email OPENED!

Because an email that’s not opened will never be read. And an email that’s not opened will be the target of the delete key. Therefore it’s key to write an email title that will get your email opened and read.

Tuesday, June 29th, 2010

Anybody with any online ambitions wants to get a top ranking on Google. Why? Well, how about free targeted traffic coming directly to your site’s money pages – that’s a pretty good reason in my opinion.

SEO, the process needed to achieve these rankings, isn’t without its controversies though. There are those who get it and there are those who certainly do not.
